Dandadan follows Momo Ayase, a high school girl who believes in ghosts but not aliens, and Ken Takakura (nicknamed Okarun), who believes in aliens but not ghosts. After a bizarre encounter with both supernatural and extraterrestrial forces, they gain strange powers and team up to fight bizarre entities while navigating friendship, humor, and growing feelings for each other.
